Vladimir Korovitsyn was born in 1955 in Veliky Novgorod. He began his music education at the Novgorod Children's Music School No. 1. Later, he studied accordion at the Novgorod Music College. He completed his studies with honors at the N.A. Rimsky-Korsakov Leningrad Conservatory. Over time, Korovitsyn became a laureate of several international competitions and joined the Union of Composers of Russia. Korovitsyn received awards at the "Melody competition" in Stockholm in 1992 and the "Spring of Romance" in St. Petersburg in 2000. Both of these honors were in composer categories, recognizing his work specifically. These achievements highlight his standing in the world of music composition. His connection to international and local music events reflects his active participation in the musical community. Currently, Vladimir Korovitsyn lives in his hometown of Veliky Novgorod.
