Composer Vladimir Korovitsyn was born in Veliky Novgorod in 1955. A graduate of the Novgorod Children's Music School No. 1, a graduate of the Novgorod Music College (accordion class), graduated with honors from the N.A. Rimksky-Korsakov Leningrad Conservatory, laureate of international competitions, a member of the Union of Composers of Russia. Laureate of the "Melody competition" (Stockholm, 1992) and "Spring of Romance" (St. Petersburg, 2000) in composer nominations. He currently lives in his hometown. In his creative baggage there is music of different genres: for choir, for chamber and symphony orchestra, romances, songs, sacred compositions.
