About this piece
The Minuet in G minor, BWV Anh. 115, is part of a movement from a suite for harpsichord by Christian Petzold, which, through its appearance in the 1725 Notebook for Anna Magdalena Bach, used to be attributed to Johann Sebastian Bach. This Minuet, together with its companion piece in G major Anh. 114, is among the best-known pieces of music literature.
