In 1809, Marie Bigot relocated to Paris, where she established herself as a prominent piano teacher. During her time there, she composed some of her most renowned piano pieces, specifically crafted for her students. Notably among them is the 'Suite d'Études,' comprising three remarkable short studies. The first study in this suite is characterized by its striking energy and drive. It serves as an excellent exercise for mastering octaves in the left hand and enhancing hand coordination.
