Beginning of the composer’s lifetime.
About this piece
Mozart, in his late teens, explored the evolving piano technology during his European travels. The Sonatas K. 281 and K. 282, composed in 1774-1775, represent his early keyboard works and showcases Mozart's adept use of the piano's expressive capabilities. These sonatas served as Mozart's calling cards, demonstrating his virtuosity and lyrical skill on the innovative pianoforte.
