My Horse is a playful piece full of spirit and character, where crisp articulation on both hands and light touch are essential. It is interesting how the composer changes the melody between right and left hands without changing the figurations: what is accompaniment on the right-hand in the beginning, become melody in the middle part; and what is melody in the left-hand in the main theme, becomes accompaniment in the middle section.
