This sonatina by Kuhlau is the first in a series of six Sonatinas composed in progressive difficulty. It's by far, the most famous piece in the entire set, widely played by late beginner/early intermediate pianists.
This sonatina exemplifies the traditional style of the classical sonata and it is a great introduction to this genre.
