German song Op.39 No.17

Pyotr Tchaikovsky

About this piece
Tchaikovsky's Opus 39 is a great set of short pieces for early to late intermediate pianists. Tchaikovsky sub-titled this collection "24 easy pieces (à la Schumann)". Like his predecessor, Tchaikovsky had the innate ability to write for young people, as illustrated here with this set of charming and characteristic miniatures. "German song" has a very folkloric character to it, to be played with a firm and staccato touch on the dotted notes.
Is this your next piece?
It might be a good next step if you're an intermediate pianist working on your technique.
