Piano Piece for the Right or Left Hand Alone H 241

Carl Philipp Emanuel Bach

What's this piece like?
As the title suggests, this piece was written as a study for either the right or left hand alone. Here you will see it played with the left hand. This type of music belongs to a long tradition of solo pieces written for a solo instrument such as a violin, or cello. In such pieces, the melodic lines also clearly outlines the harmonic progression through the use of broken chords and well defined rhythm.
Who's this piece for?
An excellent piece for intermediate level pianists who are working on their technique.
