Les Perles Op.109 No.2

Johann Friedrich Burgmüller

What's this piece like?
Burgmüller Op. 109 is a wonderful collection of small character studies. Each piece presents a consistent technical problem, which is often the main idea of the piece, while at the same time having a distinct and lovely musical appeal. "Les Perles" is a study in white-key scales that helps you develop leggiero technique (fast and light). Because it's based on simple harmony and basic scales pattern is a perfect piece for early intermediate students.
Who's this piece for?
For intermediate pianists looking for an extra challenge that will bring their technique up to the next level.
