Pinto's Childhood Scenes follow the footsteps of Schumann's famous Opus 68 Scenes from Childhood, which is a set of short character pieces inspired by the composer's fond memories of his childhood. The first one in the set, Run Run!, has a playful character with fast alternating hands in the main section. The left hand should be lightly accentuated, which will help keep the arms and wrists relaxed throughout this section.
